What's wrong with people? Empty What's wrong with people?

Post by pongy Sun Dec 30 2012, 13:28

I went to my mothers for the 1st time in over a month and half on the 27th after she said Cassie should be muzzled angry or not to be taken to her house, i won't muzzle if she has done nothing wrong hence i hadn't seen her since, in a way i can understand her being scared but it still upsets. Whilst we were there a family friend phoned that we hadn't seen in a while so we visited him on the way home. We walked in and to our suprise were met by a beautiful white staffy bouncing about up and down the walls Love Struck after cuddles and lots of staffy snogs our friend says come see her pups, 9 beautiful 6 week old pups Love Struck , i asked if she had been caught by accident "oh no we mated her with a male staffy down the road, £40 if you want one" was the response. I asked him if thats flea'd and wormed he said "no the new ownners can do that" , i was devestated and told him there are enough staffies in dogs homes WTF, i told him it is his duty to worm, flea and chip the pups and anyone worth having a pup would gladly pay it back, his answer was it is thier problem not mine plus at least 2 of the people already paid are more interested in pubs and won't have time for a pup so 2 already on the way to needing to be rehomed. I hit the roof and told him he was not the person i thought he was and he should be ashamed of himself. Anyway i have just had a phone call asking do i want to apologise for my childish outburst in the interest of the get together at new year, f**k off was my response bring on the ill feelings and if my family can just stay silent then good luck to them all. Have i just shot myself in the foot? no i haven't i just wish there was a rehoming center for ignorant ex friends

Dave, I would have reacted in exactly the same way. We can choose our friends thankfully, and choose who not to be friends with.

I take it they are no longer on your Christmas card list.

Well done. To answer your question, I think people just see the pound signs and no further, very sad

Kylie i did throttle him, i was choking the life out of the inconsiderate sod.... in my mind, but tbh if the oh wasn't with me it could of turned nasty, now lets just hope he has the sense to stay away from me for a while at least, it just hurts that something so beautiful and soft as my Cassie could end up in a rehoming center through idiots like him, so sad

Well done for holding your tongue, what a complete muppet, no morals, no values, no education when it comes to breeding, I would have taken the Mrs home and gone back round angry

Im glad im not the only person who risks a relationship to speak out! I didn't speak to my cousin for a good 6 months after she decided to get rid of her pup cause she couldn't be arsed with it. It is now a taboo topic and i refuse to let her reminisce about her (she keeps trying to bring her up in conversation saying how lovely she was)

I have had rants at my horses owner many many times and its actually how i ended up with him, i got sick of her not looking after him so i basically took him off her.

Can't stand irresponsible owners.

I think I'd have picked up the nearest hard object, bashed him over the head & then would have stolen the bitch & her puppies!

Well done. I'm the same. My mrs always gives me that look but I can't help to at least have a few comments at them. The amount of back yeard breeders at the moment is unbelievable. Then they stand there all proud like they have help produce the best examples of the breed even though they don't even know about health tests etc.

I would have told him too. £40 is cheap for a pup, I might have stayed 'friends' to make sure the pups were ok Big Grin

Here is a edited and what i think he means update and a notice for anyone else who thinks along the same lines as my ex friend. He has just txt me asking now he has sold all the pups can we put the events of new years eve behind us (NO). He says it is unfair to spay before she knows what having pups is like and he made £360 giving her the experience because he wouldn't like it wtf? Well for a start off they have all gone to people i wouldn't dream were dog people, but that is only an opinion. And if anyone reading this is humanizing their dog the same way, think of it as how will the bitch feel knowing her pups are being treated as money makers?, and her babies ending up in rehoming centers? or just being generally mistreated and abused. Please if you think the same way as my old friend don't, your putting your pet through unfair suffering and the offspring through a life of the same and you may just lose an old friend. PLEASE tell anyone interested in pups please adopt 1st or use a real and caring breeder, please dont become a despised byb think 1st. Sorry rant over and i thought you should know the conclusion of events, and 1 or 2 can be watched from afar
