As long as it was only a small amount there shouldn't be any ill effects.

Should be OK as you got the bag off him straight away. These bags are normally small and put in with new electronic equipment, leather goods and similar to keep them dry.

Any granules swallowed WILL absorb water from his system but by the sounds of it he wouldn't have swallowed many granules, if any at all. Just keep an eye on him.

Thanks for the update Liam, I've got a feeling that Spike will be just fine.

But good for you in identifying a potential problem really quickly, removing the hazard really quickly, and then asking for advice really quickly.

this forum is the BEST, and will respond really quickly!

Keep in touch, and a Merry Christmas to you and Spike.
