robust ball that fits in a chucker
Hello, i am fed up of getting through two tennis balls each walk and just wondered if anyone had found a more robust ball that fits in a chucker?
Thanks in advance!
Thanks in advance!

We use the Chuck It balls, may appear to be a bit pricey to begin with but they last for ages.

Re: robust ball that fits in a chucker
A determined Ledger split one of his chuckit balls (he is good ax exploiting the dents/ridges on toys) it still throws fine but just ordered a couple more and found them cheaper here...

There you go, it pays to shop around, Amazon are not always necessarily the cheapest place to get things from. Strangely I have found with other items too. Always shop around for best price so long as it's not a counterfeit product you are fine.

I'm assuming Rocky is a good lad and dosent try to "kill" the balls he chase's ... we've tried allsorts, from tennis balls that last just one walk then are fit for the bin , to the solid rubber balls that weigh a ton, and get skewered on Max's fangs, which I dont like cus I can see him breaking a tooth
Synthetic cricket balls didnt do too bad, but eventually broke down .... I might give these a go if they are tough enough to last a couple of weeks ??

Re: robust ball that fits in a chucker
I have had them a couple of months now as tennis balls got shredded to pieces on contact and yes Ledger managed to split one but it still throws.bounces quite well and even when he does lie down and have a good chew on it before dropping, it hasn't got any worse so still using it.
I have to take two balls out to get him to drop the first but we go out for atleast a good half hour with the balls most days (depending on the weather as I now need to drive to a drier park as the one behind my house is now a mud bath) and they are withstanding the incessant chewing in the car and when we get home before I can get some ham to get him to release the last ball.

Re: robust ball that fits in a chucker
I bought used ones from eBay that support tennis schools & charities - they last as long as new ones - and at a fraction of the price -
