Hit the 6 month mark
and turned into a teenager of the likes ive not seen. She now pulls on her lead, doesnt come back for recall and has started jumping up and nipping the kids.
Back to basics, she was soooo brilliant as a pup and we're going to me mums for xmas and she already thinks tash is going to attack the kids because she's a staffie.
Not happy

Yeeeaaaah...that's what happens you're not alone anyway. Do some yoga to stop the stress and go back to basics as you said it'll all be over...eventually.

Re: Hit the 6 month mark
I assume you're taking her with you.
Firstly, even though i HATE crates, i would suggest you bring one. And start crate training at the house. Act as though you have only got her and train her the same...out for pees etc, chill out time etc.
for the excitement, practice "NO" or "AHH!!" for if jumping up, say it before it happens

I wonder if they forget their training or are just plain stubborn

I wonder that too. I assumed it was stubbornness, but sometimes when I tell Loki to go to bed, he honestly looks like he doesn't have a clue what I mean maybe the excitement of the world makes their memory hazy.
