Name: Buster
Age: 12 weeks Old (approx.)
Breed: Staffordshire Bull Terrier x
Can I live with Children: Older children
Can I live with cats: Not tested
Can I live with other dogs:Yes
Fostered In: South Wales
Other Information
Meet Buster the 12 week old Staffy x . He is a typical Staff pup, loves playing, boundless energy but can be rough playing with the fosterers 14 year old daughter so we would only home to a home with older children.
He plays roughly with the fosterers own JRT pup and is just a typical pup so would probably be best being an only dog or with a dog with the same energy levels.
Buster’s housetraining is work in progress again like any pup he gets so excited he forgets where and when he should be going. This will come with time and with some puppy classes to start to get him properly socialized and focused on his new owner.
He does cry when you leave him at the moment and is a great chewer of cables, wires and anything he can get his teeth into. Once his is settled in his new home this can be worked on.
He’s fine with sharing his toys and him and the resident pup behave like children and always want the toy the other one has
He initially was a little food aggressive when he moved into foster, but he was very thin and may have not been getting all the nutrition he needed in his previous home. He is getting better now he’s being fed regularly but does tend to gulp down his food, which again can be worked on or a special bowl to help this can be used.
As he hasn’t had his 2nd vaccinations as yet the foster home has not been able to take him out for a walk or to see what he is like on a lead. I would expect it all to be very exciting for him when it comes so watch this space.
He loves his staffy cuddles and cwtch’s and would suit a home that can give him regular exercise, training and that has experience with this breed. He will be challenging, but as he is so young it will all be worth it when you get those staffy snogs.
Buster has been neutered and will be fully vaccinated and microchipped before he goes into his new home. He is currently being fostered in South Wales but we do rehome all over the UK. Any prospective home will be expected to visit Buster in his foster home.
I think all that playing has worn him out.
Buster doesn't like being an Elf and really isn't in the Christmas spirit!
