Whichever one agrees the most - my advice is to buy trial packs of several and keep wheat and fillers to a minimum in the ingredients.

Re: What is the best puppy food
Some of the more knowledgable folk will be along shortly with various options.
I'm new to the world of staffs but have had Bacchus on Orijen Puppy complete since I got him at 9 weeks and he is thriving on it.
It is quite expensive but I find that because of the quality he needs less volume than with a cheap brand. However I'm sure some of the other guys will be able to recommend other good brands or alternatives such as raw, but the Orijen works for us.
Super cute puppy by the way. Love the expression.

Re: What is the best puppy food
It's a personal choice. All I'd say is...
1. Choose the very best you can afford
2. Make sure that meat is the first named ingredient
3. Make sure that the food is wheat free if possible, or at least with very little wheat in it.

Ramsey and my last staff have always loved pedigree food but its not the best although its ok.. Science plan is very good and they love that.. Eukanuba is good

We feed with Royal Canin and Baloo is thriving well...dog food is a bit of alchemy: 100 brands of dry food, then food dried by low temperature, Barf, raw...

Re: What is the best puppy food
I would always recommend the Barking Heads brand food, Rocky has the TLC one, they also do puppy food with a high protein quantity. It also contains hip and joint care in the form of Glucosamine and Chondroitin.

Re: What is the best puppy food
Obi was on Wainwrights Puppy to begin with but then all of a sudden his body didn't agree with it and he was pooing for england (and not the solid type either ) So we changed his food to Royal Canin from the vets. He's fine on that and everything is now back to normal. Have to say it's not as cheap as the wainwrights but it agree's with him and that's all that matters

Re: What is the best puppy food
You just have to check what's good for your puppy. I tried lots of good brands and now we settle with wainwrights. About Eukanuba I've heard lots of bad things about it.
