Sad in laws

my sister in law told my wife tonight . The dog in not allowed in grand parents house . When her daughter is there. She said it is not worth the risk . Made me so mad . it was ok when we stayed in Spain had a staff then she came for 3 weeks . people like her get the breed bad reputation . In her eyes any one who has staff is a ned the lady is a total idiot sorry rant over

My family aren't keen on Moo, can't take her to any of there houses, I now find it quite a good excuse not to go

Scared to put the weans at risk....ridiculous. What's the worst the puppy can do ....snag a cardie. Hope she comes round.
We're going to our daughters in Crookston for Christmas, first time we visited with Bacchus the son-in-law told us in advance that the dog wouldn't be allowed on the furniture..........within 10 mins he was cuddling the dog on the settee.

BTW someone else on the forum was asking if our pups are related as they are so similair. Bacchus is a Blazinstaff puppy.

none of my family are like that or friends they accept Miley for what she is... a lovable friendly dog

Buster is staffs pride Ireland

Obi is part of the family just like one of the kids. My previous staffie Zaccy was treated the same if you don't like my dog don't come round my house. I'm not hiding him away.

We don't go anywhere for very long so I don't have to worry about Obi being on his own plus my daughter is home most of the time. If we couldn't take Obi somewhere then we wouldn't go simple as.

People who believe everything they read about staffies do my head in. Any dog can be aggressive or dangerous it's how they're brought up that matters just like kids!!!!!!!!!!

Your in Laws are very sad i would tell them your not going to visit and that you would rather spend the time with your Staffy instead , mind you we had the Mother in Law round for 8 years at Xmas i got so fed up so on the 9th one i let her in .

I'm lucky my family love my 2 ( well my mum does and my dad has to do as he's told lol)both my brother and in laws have dogs so its not unusual for a hound to be following behind
But as buster won't mix and my brother in laws dog is da ( toy poodle) if we go round each others the hounds stay at home( but we never stay long)
