Those with 2 staffords :-"
We have had Sierra for nearly 6 weeks now and when she's out her crate her and Bailey are constantly running about/playing/play fighting! How long does it usually take for them to calm down and leave each other to do their own things ?
Sierra's only in her crate after a walk so she can sleep in peace, just after eating (so she isn't sick from jumping about with Bailey) or when she looks like she needs a break from him when I get Bailey calmed down and minding his own business, Sierra runs over and starts play fighting and vice versa I just can't seem to win

Mine go at it about 3 hours or so a day. Took them about 2 months to get to where every waking moment wasn't a wrestling match. Although mine won't let each other be either unless they are distracted by a bone or worn out. Piggy is pretty good about laying down the law when the boys won't leave her alone but Frosty is pretty dense.

We are going through this at the moment with Kali-Mist (18weeks) and her mum and gran. If its not one pair of them play fighting and trashing the house its the other, or all of them! I think having a puppy around makes them feel like one. From what I can remember it does take a while! Skibadee and Tali eventually realised that there were other things to do apart from playing when Tali got to about 6/7 months.

So basically I've got another few weeks/months to go
There fine out on walks, they just ignore each other, it's inside where the start to go a bit nuts got to watch the rough play aswell as Sierra has snapped the point off one of her canine teeth, not overly bothered as she still eats/drinks/plays without it bothering her!

Lol my 2 never stop ! Even now I will put Tank in his crate to chillout if they have been playing a bit too much !
Most of the time they play until they are both puffed out panting.
Diesel will tell Tank off tho when she's had enough.
My 2 are covered in scratches and light bite marks ! They do play rough.

Yep my 2 fight all the time as well, rolling around and blood curdling growls. Sometimes on the way home from a walk Lily will attack Lola and their leads will get tangled, its so embarrassing

My girls Inca (2 yrs old) & Sky (8 mnths old) have a mad moment every morning in which Sky tries her upmost to push Inca as far as she can but with a quick paw swipe an a gentle (ish) grab to the throat by Inca lets Sky know when she's had enough !!..
The play fights are all instigated by Sky inside the house but outside on walks Inca can start her fair share by just charging at Sky an off they run through the grass or woods..
Luckily my girls haven't taken it as far as to having a proper full of fight but they both have the odd scratch or mark from when they play rough with each other.. Also they stop play fighting the minute i just say 'hey' or 'enough girls' ....

This is pretty much how it is with us , Tommy is the boss in the house and the garden , outside on walks it's always Tilly that starts it ,, bizarre
