do all staffords do this?
I don't know if it is excitement and it's Cassie's way of saying hurry up but....Cassie shakes like a toileting chihuahua on the neighbours lawn when any food is about. When it's breakfast time there is a puddle of drool on the floor and she shakes so badly. She is not so bad at tea time, do all staffy's do this or is she just a special

Never heard of that one. they usually shake when nervous or similar. The drooling who knows may smell food from next doors garden maybe

No idea. Pixee just waits anywhere, I call out so say breakfast, she will come when she is ready, normally after a walk she goes straight to it. Same tea time. If she is really hungry, she will sit right in front of me, moving both front paws in a pattern as if tap dancing, just starting at me and crying (Not that it happens very often)

I read that shaking, as well as a sign of nervousness and cold and whatever, is simply because they're so tempted by something but can't have it yet. Loki's done it a few times waiting for his food. He's also done it when he sits there staring at some birds wanting to chase them but me telling them to leave them. It's just this "OMG I want it" thing.

I can level this with an excited quiver from Tilly like she is on lead and waiting to be off to get at them squirrels

Maggie does something similar not with food though she just sits and waits till shes told she can have it but she does it when there is people around because she's expecting some attention or just as we get out for her walk Its not quite shaking its more like a quiver and a little skip its soo cute to see I love it I think as long as her body language doesnt lead you to believe she's scared then take it as excitment, when Maggie does it I swear she smiles a little
