Expensive Mistake
I could throttle Caley today - although I guess I have to take some responsiblity.
I returned from my christmas party last night. I had borrowed a dress from a friend as this was a black tie party.
I guess you can imagine what is coming, the dress cost over £100 and when I returned home slightly tipsy I had put the dress on my table in the kitchen. This morning I got up with Caley and we shut her in the kitchen whilst I took my hubby to the train station...5 minutes I was gone...I come home to see her chewing on something and when I looked my heart sunk, she had chewed all the beads of the top of the dress and ripped a part of it ...I was near tears and dreading telling my friend... the little madam, I refused to speak to her all morning that she then actually refused to eat her food until we were friends again.
What was lucky though is I have a friend who adores Caley and shrugged it off with never mind accidents happen, I promised to replace it or give her the money but she was like no don't worry just keep me filled up with tea and coffee at work - what a great friend

Re: Expensive Mistake
My wife has a strange obsession with Penguins honest , anyhow someone brought round the other day a large soft penguin toy , i just knew Duke would want it so i stuck it on the dining table out of his reach till my wife could find somewhere safe to put it , tonight as we both sat eating at the table the penguin starts to very slowly slip from the other side of table within seconds Duke is legging it with it in his gob my wife had to chase him round the living room to get it back .
Staffs are the funniest dogs i have ever come across .

Re: Expensive Mistake
I know what you mean. I have a lodger and my rules are they dont go in your room...ever or its fair game. Sure enough last lodger let em in and marley destroyd her makeup bag. I was livid as for the chemicals and all i got was its expensive... My rules are dont let dogs in the room and if i ever catch em feeding dogs ill kick em out door...people that is. Dogs always think new things need tasting. Im down two lodgers lol

Re: Expensive Mistake
I think Caley is going through a rebellion at the moment (9 months old and showing off)...poor Santa (an ornament on my fire place) got it last night, she was actually growling and barking at him..that was until he said "ho ho ho merry christmas" too which she run in the opposite direction lol
