OK Char, I'm sorry to hear that. Changes in circumstances happen to many of us despite our best efforts, and I am sure you will do what is best for yourself and for Bully.
Wishing you and Bully the best outcome for you both ><

Hmm. Well hopefully his new owner can keep him. I'm sorry but i do feel you never really tried with him and seem happy to give him away.

Re: last ones of bull :D
Well that's your opinion. However you are not here with him, you haven't been through the stuff I have with him. It was me who hand fed him for 2weeks when he was very ill. It was me who seperated numerous dog fights. So please don't assume you know my reason. I'm doing what's best for him.
Yes caryll he will be.

I've had the same situations with Lexi, but I sill have her. Maybe he will settle in a new home.

Re: last ones of bull :D
He's settled here. I'm not giving him away because of the situations I've had in past, I solved that. I'm giving him away because I can't give him the time he needs.

Re: last ones of bull :D
Char - You've evidently had problems, either personal or with Bully, or maybe both, and I do sympathise.
If rehoming Bully is best for YOU and best for BULLY, then I applaud you for facing facts and doing the best you can for BOTH of you. It must have been a hard decision but no doubt the best one for you both if the situation was intolerable for either of you.
It's good to hear that you have found a good future home for Bully.
Wishing you good fortunes to the both of you.

Re: last ones of bull :D
Yes lynda. I wouldn't do it for any other reason other than it's a what's best for him, and I know he'll be happy and well taken care of with someone who will love him as much as I do. I know people on here are entitled to opinions but how anyone can think I'm happy to get rid of his has no idea how hard its been to face that he's not getting what he needs.
And steve change of circumstance- meaning I'm not home much to walk him/or be with him. Therefore he seems me an hour tops! That's not fair! Hence he be going after newyear to a loving family

Your always going on about getting rid of him one way or another. You knew what you were getting into when you got him and that it wasn't going to be an easy ride. I think its unfair for you to pass him on to someone else especially a family when you know he can and will bite. Chances are if you do get rid of him he will end up in rescue or put down. Harsh but true. Nice pics BTW

Yeah! He has problems, and had them when I took him on 4 years ago!! He's going to a very close mate of mine who will be with him most the day, your entitled to your opinions, but if your trying to say I don't give a rats * about my dog then you've absolutely no idea. Its all I have to say.

Re: last ones of bull :D
Thats not the point, the point is you know he can bee aggressive and we do not think that giving the dog away will benefit him. He is settled now, and uprooting him yet again is likely to send him right back to the state he was in. If this is to a family that think they are getting a lovely dog then he bites, then he will be put down. I just hope that they know he can and will bite, because if they don't then it is almost criminal to give him away. We are just concerned about him and about his new owners is all.

Re: last ones of bull :D
OK, enough accusations.
Char - do the new family know what he is like & what his history is? Can they cope, knowing that the change in lifestyle will unsettle him & may well make him anxious & therefore aggressive? Are they prepared to get a behaviourist in if necessary to help combat this?

Re: last ones of bull :D
Sorry but I just remember this same conversation a few months back. And I don't mean to be horrible I just think its sad and when u look at the photos you can see in his eyes he obviously loves and trusts you, hes an old-ish boy now and I just think it is going to really disrupt him.
I tried to help at the time and it felt like you had already made your mind up, my suggestions were pretty much brushed aside. I hope it all works out anyway.

lovely pics its just a shame you feel you no longer can give him the time he needs and as others have pointed out i hope the new owner knows and can deal with any issues that may arise with the change of home .
are you getting rid of both bulley and major to the same person so they will still have eachother ?????

Sorry but I didn't say he was going to a family he's going to a nice guy who is going to look after him. I know he can be aggressive which is why I'm not careless enough to give him a family

Does the guy know how to handle a possibly aggressive dog? If not, he could end up in the same position as you & poor Bully will end up being pts.

Sorry Char but you stated here that he was going to a loving family and as we all know the history or rather some of it , obviously it leads to concerns for Bully

Re: last ones of bull :D
Yes my mistake dave, I mean a couple. No kids but he'll be looked after, I'm not trying to palm him off, I'm doing what's best for my dog the same as you would Tilly/Tommy, they are fully aware of his food/toy aggression and dog aggression but that is ALL the problems he has.:-)
I appreciate the concern, but I'm only doing what needs to be done for MY dogs welfare.

Re: last ones of bull :D
Without sounding rude! What problem. He has food/dog aggression. He's had it since I rescued him. He'll drop his toys/bone if you tell him too, its simple. Don't try take anything off him. And he won't bite. He's always been dog aggressive, he's always muzzled in public. What is it I'm doing wrong. There's a change in circumstance which means I Can NOT keep 2 dogs. Would you all rather I get him pts. Or tie him to a lampost? Or get him a loving home?

Sympathy for my failings .. No it's a gallery therefore I thought your supposed to post pics. My mistake! And as for your question the other isn't my dog. He's my parents therefore I can not get rid of him. To be honest I don't give a flying * what you think. I've raised him for 4years not you.

You must have realised that you would get comments & some criticism if you put 'Last pics' in the title? Of course people were going to ask, and you must have wanted them to ask or you wouldn't have mentioned it, you'd have just posted the pics.

Re: last ones of bull :D
Char has come in for a lot of stick here, but at the end of the day if she has a dog she cannot cope with any more she has done the best thing in finding him a good home where the prospective owners know what they are taking on and are ready and willing to do it.
