Limping lady
Moll has got a limp on her front right leg.I've checked her paws etc and nothing obvious. I think she may have strained a muscle or somthing.
Should i walk her at all tomorrow or just give her a few days rest? Just worry she'll get more hyped up by not going out.
Hope everyone is well.

Re: Limping lady
Let her rest, if she is hyper sometimes they can pull the muscle where the leg joins the body and than can make them limp.

Re: Limping lady
Always rest for a day, then see if there is any heat or swelling. if she is still limping really bad pop to the vets x

Re: Limping lady
Rest it for a day and see how she is. Also go back to the normal routine slowly to make sure it's fully healed so she doesn't reinjure it

Re: Limping lady
Well she was getting much better, no limp, after 2 days of rest and lead walks. So I thought hey poor little thing 5 minutes off lead would be okay.... she came back limping slightly.
Now on lead walks for a week or so.
To make a negative into a positive her walks are now through town etc to get her more used to different noises and people etc. She is scared of the general noise but when she sees people and dogs she start wagging her tail (and back half of her body!) in the hope they will say hello. So we are practising not jumping up!
She's not limping hence taking her out on the lead but I don't want to risk it.

Re: Limping lady
Leads walks may be the best option for a while at least until the limp has improved. Sounds like you are making the most of a bad deal though with some training, never a bad thing. Keep up the good work.
