Are bubbles safe for dogs?
I bought a bubble gun which came with a bottle of bacon flavoured bubbles, mainly to keep Densil amused when it rains all day as he won't go walkies. I found the liquid was too thin and runny and I was only getting 1 or 2 bubbles at a time. I also tried blowing with a hand wand, but still no good. When I used ordinary childrens bubbles the results were fantastic - bubbles everywhere. The problem is Densil snaps at them and eats them, whereas I think the childrens bubbles are only meant to be popped with hands. At the moment I have mixed some of the bacon in with the other stuff, but just worried that he is swallowing something he shouldnt.

I think they would be fine.. Most childrens bubbles are non toxic so as long as he isn't drinking the liquid I think it would be fine

maybe be careful though as the soap content could upset their tummy

Yes, they're non-toxic, but if they swallow too much of it, it can cause a bit of bum gravy!

As long as it isn't overdone they are okay. I keep meaning to do this with Suki but never seem to get around to it

Re: Are bubbles safe for dogs?
I did try the everlasting bubbles, but they didn't seem to last long and only in a small tube. Densil used to jump up and try and bite the wand, which is why I now have a machine. Also they make his coat sticky so have to wipe him down afterwards. Will have to get a few tubes in order to fill the machine up. I don't use them every day, just like the last few days when it has been bucketing down. he does go mad for them though - it's the best toy I've found that he likes so far.
