Morrisons pork or Lincolnshire sausage rolls are the best in the land

Minced Beef and Onion Pies are quite tasty too, don't like the bakery donuts but my daughter loves their fruit pies

Tesco reduced their chicken breasts to about 4 quid a kilo tonight - so I bought 25 kilos.
The looks on everyone else's face - like I was dipping their pockets or something.
Foster dog shall dine in luxury for a while.
EDIT: also had 72 big tins of Stella Artois for 40 quid.
And got some pork scratchings. Bonus.

I usually get a comment like "Ooooh, you must like your meat in your family!" The look on their faces when I say "I'm a vegetarian, actually" is classic!

Re: ah good old morrisons
That'll make it 64.5p a pint at your staff discount price.

That'll make it cheaper than the pub then , and as its Stella not too many people to pick a fight with on the way home to bed

I've never noticed liver and hearts and etc. there. Mainly because I have no reason to. But reckon I could get some for Loki. Don't think I'll be switching to the raw diet, because I don't trust him with bones, it's like he shoves them down whole just to terrify me on purpose but can't do any harm to do it now and again. Or is it best to just stick to one?

Re: ah good old morrisons
You can feed raw & kibble, but not together (some people say not at all, but I've never heard of any serious problem) because the digestion times are different. If you feed both, it's best to feed raw in the morning (short digestion time) and dry in the afternoon/evening (long digestion time).
By all means give him a raw bone every so often - if he gobbles them up try a lamb's neck or spine (often available from Morrisons) as they're too big to swallow, but softer than knuckle bones etc so they're satisfying to chomp on!

Re: ah good old morrisons
It's because of Morrisons that we have Rocky.
Just before Christmas a couple of years ago we went over to our nearest Morrisons store which is quite close to Woodgreen Animal Charity. We went and did some Christmas shopping in the store then I said to my hubby "Lets just pop over to Woodgreen since it's so close and have a look." "OK then" he said with a wink.
We got to Woodgreen and had a good look around, we got to the bottom of one row of kennels were there was a small black dog with one white paw. He didn't make a sound as we approached the wire fencing in fact he just sat there and looked at us and said "Will you be my new Mummy & Daddy" "Of course we will".
We put a reserve on him straight away, and a few days later we went back and took him out for a walk. Then we picked him up a few days after that. Little Rocky had his new Mummy & Daddy thanks to a Christmas shopping trip.
