hi took boris to the vets today to be neutered and when they weighed him he came out at 15.6 kg (about 7 and a half months old) .ive been told that adult male staffies should only be around 17 kg .. hes not fat .... very lean and muscular infact .... does this weight seem too high ... is he likely to be a cross .... ill upload some pics when hes back from the vets

It is a fine weight, there all different, Moo is 23kg! She is rather larger than standard though!

Zeus is 9 and a half months old and he's just under 20kg so I wouldn't worry.

Ollys 3 and weighs 22.5 kilos. Staffies seem to come in all sizes just like jack russels german shepherds etc !

Don't worry. Debo is nearly 8mths and over 17kg.

Well, he'll probably be a little over the 17kilos when he's full grown, but that really doesn't matter! I bet there are a lot of staffs in the show ring that are over the weight as well! Big Grin
