i need some advice plz

ive just noticed these on jess like little bald patches. i have a cat and jess torment her so im not sure if cat done this but i think she got 3 or four of these. :(any ideas plz.

can't really see what we are looking at , pics a bit blurred to me or I've had too many beers this afternoon

Hmmm difficult one.
Could be a number if things, cat has pulled her about a bit?
Mites?
Fleas ?
General irritability / scratching ?
Allergy ?

Has she done/ eaten anthing out if the ordinary ?

As above, how long have they been there?

If it is an allergy you could try giving half a piriton, it could be diet or the other but that would take some time to bald. Pop to the vets if it persists.

Apply Advocate!

Can't quite be sure from your answer if you're feeling itchy too. If you are, then fleas are a strong possibility. Fleas won't go away on their own (they live away from the dog ie in your house) until they need their next fix of blood and they'll bite you too. Your vet can supply something (and I can't remember its name) that you spray about to kill the blighters.

I wouldn't apply Advocate unless I knew what was wrong!

Have you looked all through the fur to see if there are any signs of fleas?

If you don't use Advocate, can I ask what you do use to guard against the multitude of wormy things out there as well as fleas etc to protect your dogs?

Has she been wormed/flead? If not then could be fleas with the itching, but could also be an allergy, so as suggested, a bit of Piriton might help. But if it doesn't seem to help, I think a trip to the vet might be in order; there are lots of possible things it could be, so they'd be able to help you with that.

hiya ty every one for your replys she going vets on monday my car not been working so i couldnt get her in sooner, im going to get her vac and mirco chipped too while she there ill let you what the vets say .

HIYA yeh i flea and wormed her last monday and flea the house and her bed lol, but she still straching i dont think its worked plus im getting little spots on me im going to take her to vets on monday.

I use Milbemax every 3 months for the worming, but I only de-flea if there's a need - and there hasn't been up to now & Dempsey's 3.5 years old now. I don't like putting strong chemicals on my dog's neck unless there's a need for it!

hiya all, she got mites been given treatment and she also got a high temp so she couldnt have her vacs or chip done she had some antibiotics alot of mummy cuddles i think for jess lol

Awww, poor Jess! At least you know what's wrong now. Did he give you anything for the mites or did he think she'd just grow out of it?

she going to ring me bck later to pick something up for them, she had to ring someone because i flea her and this treatment for mite got same ingredient and dont want to over dose her lol.
