Dragon and his tricks
Hello,
So after 2 days of training, we've got Dragon to be able to sit, lay down and then roll over. He learns very quick, within 5-10 times of me showing him what he's meant to do and then giving him a treat, he gets it and does it all by himself, very proud of Dragon.
Now for our future tricks I'm going to get him to give me his paw and then when he gets it, I'll get him to hi5 me. Wish me good luck and if you do need some help with getting your dog to sit, lay down and then rolling over, just ask and I'll give you some tips.

Re: Dragon and his tricks
we can't get Tommy to give paw , he will lift sightly on "say please" but only sometimes. Tilly is every time she is a girl that knows how to get what she wants

Yes I've been trying every now and again to get Dragon to give me his paw, I've been finding it harder than when I tried to get him to lie down and roll over, but with time he'll understand. The easiest way to get Tommy to give you his paw is by holding his paw and saying the command for example ''Paw'' then letting go and giving him a treat, do it a few times and then after a while, just give him a little tap and see if he gives you his paw if he still doesn't give you his paw, you should go back to holding his paw until he starts giving his paw when tapped, after a while he should understand.

I think Rocky has been taught to do this already before we got him, as he just does it anyway, lift his paw that is. He is a rescue so he may have been taught there too.
