Just makes me laugh now . . .

Took Lennon to the park as normal this morning with his ball, that boy could chase his ball all day! After about half hr we decided it was time for a cool down & walk and headed for the gates to the park, still off lead, spotted a lady with a westie entering the park so told Lennon to sit & popped his lead on. As we got closer to said lady I could see her nervously looking at Lennon who was plodding along knackered & not the slightlest bit interested in her or her dog, she suddenly darted into the bushes taking her puzzled dog with her & promptly tripped over a tree stump! Well, I couldn't laugh there & then but went over to help her, she was bright red & went redder still when Lennon laid down & rolled on his back for her little westie!

But we can laugh after (I'm pleased she was ok!!) Xx

She was fine, I think she will still try & avoid me & Lennon though, out of embarrasment more than anything though, not my scary staffie!!

Oh dear! Silly person I think we need a lighthearted term for these people we are forced to put up with when we are out with our staffs

Unfortunately the words that come to mind are not that lighthearted, so I'll refrain from adding them and I'm not being nasty just honest.

Pleased to post had a good walk this morning, Lennon played with 2 v cute 6 month old whippets, the woman that owned them relaxed relatively quickly once she realised Lennon was in fact kissing them & not trying to eat their faces! All had great fun racing around after each other. After 2 & half yrs of owning a staffie, I take no notice of the ignorance of some ppl, quite frankly they are just narrow minded & missing out on the joy that is Staffie love!

No I completely agree, I've used plenty of choice words. But if we had a word of our own it would be just for us, and would lighten the bother of dealing with the funny looks and judgements and constant avoidance of our lovely dogs by these ridiculous folk
