Re: i think we should a diet forum
You need some fat in your diet. You shouldn't cut all of it out.

I use quorn sometimes, but mainly I tend to throw things together!
I like risotto - I just throw in things like a stock cube, diced onions, sliced mushrooms, sliced red & green peppers, maybe some prawns towards the end of the cooking time.

Chicken and turkey are both low in fat.
A forum just for recipes would be a nice idea though, just have the name of the dish as the post title to make it easy to search for.

Re: i think we should a diet forum
I know a good mushy pea curry from my slimming world days.Sounds gross but its really nice and its fat free
Diced Onions as many as you like
Sliced Mushrooms, again, use as many as you like
2 x Tins Mushy Peas
1 x tin Baked Beans
2 x tins Chopped Tomato's
1 Tablespoon Chili powder,or add to taste
1 Heaped Tablespoon of Curry powder again, add to taste
fry the onions and mushrooms until they are golden brown.Add the chopped tomatos, baked beans and mushy peas to the pan and stir well.
Add the chili and curry powder to taste.cook everything for about about 15 to 20 minutes on a medium heat and Serve with rice, a jacket potato or slimming world chips
I promise its lovely and the mushrooms really bulk it out.

Chicken/veg.

That was my diet when I used to compete as a bodybuilder.
12 weeks of that used to get about 2 stone off but drive me nuts at the same time.

Re: i think we should a diet forum
If you want to lose quite quickly I would say cut the carbs and sugar for a few weeks if you haven't already, I did a carb free diet for health reasons back in June, and it was hard butI cleared up the health issues and also lost half a stone in two weeks or so and couldn't believe it. I wish I had done that after having the kids when I was trying to lose the baby padding!
