Holly has got it !!! yeah

Ok peeps,
we have almost cracked the big one... toilet training..

You may remember that if we were not out there watching her like a hawk she would wee and poo on the deck
well she hasnt done that for 2 days... she is walking off the deck onto the grass and then going.

As for the house.... well we had a wee on the tiles yesterday, but today i have left the door open and she has been going in and out as she pleases... i sneak out and watch her and she has been going to the loo and having a drink adn then coming back inside to play....

she does drink a hell of a lot.. is this normal?

Gosh It amazes me where she puts it all...
It has been hot here tho .. so I am guesing she wont drink as much in the winter.

You'll be surprised! Yes, they drink less in the winter, but not that much less!

We have to change Dempsey's water about once an hour because when he drinks he slobbers & leaves a slimy film over the water! :-&

i have to change memphises water about 6/8 times aday

congrats! my boy is 95% there with hes toilet training aswell. It took almost 2 months to get there i was getting worried lol!

Bandit was house trained so quickly.

Demspey. Ah, well, Dempsey. He was a pain in the a**e. It took months before I could honestly say he was housetrained.

at least we have cracked the deck thing.... no more on the deck... now we need to get it 100% inside... who knows she might have gone to the door and no one saw her and she went behind the loung... so she was trying to hide it.

Today she snuck into Brandan's room and came out with his football.... I asked her nicely "leave it" she dropped it and walked away....
very happy with her progress.. she is doing well.

She sounds SO lovely. You'd best keep an eye on her, cause when I've scraped enough together to afford the air fare, I'm coming over there & stealing her!

I am not sure Titan will like Dempsey tho... just going by the other 100 dogs he wants to eat... Holly is the ONLy exception male or female.. such a strange thing.

stranger things have happened.. I am meeting up with a friend I meet on the Nail forums.. She is from the Uk and comes out every year to Oz.. this will be the third year we have meet up .. this time she is staying here with us and spending 3 days.. will be a lot of fun.. she is in her 60's so we have a big age gap but much in common x
