Yeah!!

We move on Wednesday and one of the things that have been hanging over me lately is that I need to get a car. Went to look at two today, and ended up buying the last one. Will pick it up tomorrow. I hate buying cars as I haven't got a clue and with a low budget you know there'll be issues, it's just a matter of how serious.. I have a guy who can look them over for me, but haven't been many in the right area (can only drive it so far to have it looked at). But - looked at one today that looked OK, so hopefully it'll serve its purpose.

So - now the boys and I own a 97 Toyota Corolla station wagon.

Now I won't even have to borrow a car for the move!

Yeah, that's my hope too! Sold my previous car when we moved to the city three years ago, but now that we're moving into the middle of nowhere it becomes a necessity!

We're just about to head out to pick it up! Yay! Will drive out to the new house and place the winter tires there so they're not stolen (like my boyfriend's spare tires were when he kept them in the car for a few days). Then to Ikea and pick up some moving boxes and perhaps we'll go buy a mailbox, too..

I drive a Toyota Corolla sedan and I love my car, I've had it for 10 yrs now, bought it New when the kids were only littlies, but thinking of up-grading now that they are bigger and want to bring friends places etc...... and then we need more space for Roxy too Got to wait though to get my car repaired at the panel-beaters then I can trade it in and get something new again.

Hope your new Corolla is as good for you as mine has been for me.
