Couldnt find a topic, so I opened a new one for all the information.
My first question is: how old a puppy should be to wear a vibrating collar ?

Re: Vibrating collar
Hi , sorry I've no experience but don't see why there should be a lower age limit , did find this on the net though.

Sorry if I've missed any posts but not seen anything to say Roca has been tested as deaf now ??

I don't know, but if it only vibrates then, as long as you introduce her to the collar properly, it should be fine. Obviously it'll take some getting used to, but I don't see why she'd be too young for it. The link Dave posted seems good

Re: Vibrating collar
They can be quite large, so you will want to use it when shes big enough to hold it without any chance of hurting her neck. When using one you should not buzz it to let her feel it, only only use it to make her stop and look at you so you can give a command. If she doesn't respond, go after her and give her the "watch" signal then whatever command. There is no point having the collar if she is going to ignore it, so try to only use it if shes not looking at you. Otherwise wave your arms like a numpty to get her attention

Hi Dave,
Thats a very good web site, Ive readed every info today, but didnt find any age limit.
Roca hasnt been tested for 100% (im gonna do baer test first), but we tried many different items (f.e clicker next to her ear when she was sleeping, frying pans etc.) and im more than sure my love is deaf.

Re: Vibrating collar
I don't think there's an age limit, but they are quite heavy so you'll need to use common sense as to whether she's big enough to support the weight comfprtably.
