We saw a friend of our this morning while out walking Rocky with her two spaniels. The female spaniel has to go into hospital on Thursday for an op on her leg, bless her. I hope she will be OK it sounded quite complex, and she will have metal plates in her leg I think.

No more walkies for a while, just on the lead out in the garden

My friends dog Radleigh, had her op done on Thursday, there is a 20% risk of infection, 6 weeks no walkies just out in the garden, I cannot remember what exactly is wrong with the leg but apperntly she has the first stages of it in the left leg now too. The gap in the right leg was so big they had to use the largest size screw they had ??? which may not last forever.

As soon as I can remember what is the condition I will let you know. The owner has just sent a picture of poor Radleigh with her leg all bandaged up, bless her.

I saw my friend this morning who's dog had the op on her leg, and she is healing very well. Little Radleigh will be in for another scan soon to see how everything is doing, she will need to be knocked out for that. I'm sure she will be fine but my friend seems to be a bit stressed about it, understandably.
