new friends :D

I took Romeo to the dog park, its been ages since he has gone because he had been sick. And luck for us there was a very friendly french Bull dog named Luka there who Romeo had a blast playing with I have never seen Romeo get into play so much before, normally its him trying to play with another dog and the other dog having none of it, or just games of chase, but the little frenchie had the same mouthing and paw slapping play method as romeo and they just hit it off great
There was an incident where some other dogs came to the park and a very large GDS cross started to mount Romeo ALL THE TIME and Romeo was having none of it so started to get very snappy, but after they left Romeo and luka kept playing. It was nice to see my baby having such a good time The owener of Luka was telling me that she would love to get a staff friend for her frenchie so we had a really nice long chat. It was a good change from people normally telling me how dangerous they are

i wish i had thought to take photos. Luka was a black-brindle Frenchie. those two had sooo much fun, when Romeo came home he jumped on my bed and collapsed and slept for 3 hours!

How cute. I love frenchies Romeo very rarely gets to play with any other dogs. He used to have a boxer x rotty that he loved wrestling with but we don't see her anymore. If other dogs want to play they only want to play chase and he runs out of puff in a few seconds. With wrestling he'll roll around for ages.
He did meet a very friendly labrador puppy a couple of weeks ago, as she was unspayed he was trying to mount her but she just body slammed him over and they wrestled together for a good twenty minutes. She was proper slamming him and dominating him!

it was so funny watching Romeo (my romeo ) and luka play, they were like little boxers smacking each other and tossing one and other to the ground. i was so happy to see him so happy. Yeah, my baby has the same problem, dogs normally just wanna play chase and romeo gets board of that pretty quickly

To my mind there is nothing in the world like dogs playing together. it a joy to watch.

i know, i could have stood there watching all day
