Dog coats that don't rub
Last year the coats we got for Maggie, the chest strap passed between her legs then wrapped round her middle. They were fairly well padded. But they rubbed her really sore mainly between her legs. Build wise she's definatly got some lurcher or something silmilar build which I don't think helps either. We at the top of the hills round the tyne valley so winters are usually windy cold and snowy. So Ideally I need coats with a detacheable liner so that I only need to buy 2 rugs and I have one to dry whiles I use the other one.
Has anyone got an idea of a coat that would suit her?

I got a 3 peaks 1 from PAH for Tilly and only a chest strap , no problems encountered

Rocky has the Ancol Muddypaws quilted coat as illustrated below, in red:
I got it from my local garden centre pets corner though, not online where you could probably get it cheaper. It keeps him dry and warm in the winter and I have not noticed any rubbing so far.

Re: Dog coats that don't rub
I've got an equa fleece - suprisingly very waterproof and warm - i got the jumper version so it wouldnt rub in Louis armpits.
They do different fits - we got Louis a 24" Bullie.
