Hillsborough Papers Empty Re: Hillsborough Papers

Post by Cyril baby Wed Sep 12 2012, 14:01

My husband, youngest son and nephew were at the Barnsley v Everton game 6 weeks earlier, it nearly happened there. Hubby had a heart condition and he shouted through the fencing to a police sargent to get him out because of the crowd crushing him, he refused. Hubby then told him he would have to tell his wife that he was dead and why, son says, "We don't call her the dragon for nothing, she breaths fire". The police sargent opened up the gates and let the fans onto the pitch. The match was late kicking off because of this.

Son was right, I do breath fire when I am mad. rolling on the floor

It's disgracefull it has taken this long. I lived near Liverpool at the time and one of my friend's boyfriend was at the match. She was in a terrible state until she found out he was OK.

We went home for a day a couple of years ago to Wirral, which is the other side of the Mersey from Liverpool and you still can't buy the Sun. It would have cost the paper a lot of money over the years. Which I think is great.

Sadly a selected few United fans decided to chant Always the victims, never your fault.
This isn't the first time this has happened. Years ago they chanted anti Hillsborough songs during a game and also shouted comments during a minutes silence for James Bulger, resulting in the Liverpool fans making their way to the away end after the game, never got a mention in the press.
Liverpool play United next Sunday and I can see things getting heated if they continue. I'm sick of them being covered up and excused for their behaviour. Sir Alex has come out and said he wants the chanting bewteen the 2 clubs to stop. I have been over 300 Liverpool games and not once heard before during or after the game chants about Munich.
Alex wants the chanting to stop he can start by giving the full CCTV footage of the crowd from old trafford so they can be identified and banned for live and allow the real football fans to watch the game.
