Just a bit advice on feeding?
Hi...sky is now 6 months old. her usual feeding times are 8 am, 1pm, and then 6pm. My hours have now changed at work so instead of 9-1 it is now 10.30-2.30. Im wondering wether to increase her first and last feed and skip her middle?...although today and yesterday we had a 'practise' and over the past week we have decreased her middle meal so she doesnt miss it but she just seems starving in the middle of the day eating and licking EVERYTHING.
I was going to feed her 10 am...then about 5.30pm and give her a little snack when i get home at 2.45 like fruit veg etc?

Re: Just a bit advice on feeding?
At 6 months old she should still be on 3 means a day, I would feed her when I get up, when I get home from work and just before going to bed, get as near as possible the same amount of hours between her feeds.
I feed my dogs 3 times a day, I started because one of my dogs had low blood sugar problems, then I got my Greyhound who also had problems and needed 3 times a day. I stayed with this when I lot both of them as Bonnie is prone to colitis and is better fed 3 times. I try to feed as near as possible to every 8 hours.

I don't see a problem with cutting down to 2 meals a day. My own routine is usually...
8 weeks - 12 weeks, four meals a day
12 weeks - 6 months, three meals a day
6 months & above, two meals a day for life.
