Re: Advice
Whilst she could be coming into saeson, I'd sugest a trip to the vets. A bitch's blood loss should not be clots, although some lose more than others.
Are her lady bits swollen a little? If so, then it's definitely her season. It will last on average about 21 days, and dogs will be interested in her right from start to finish, although she will not accept a male (stand for him) until approximately the 10th day, and then for about 3-5 days afterwards. However, that's just an average! It's best to take her out at times when there are fewer dogs around, and keep her on lead at all times.
When I had bitches I used to lead walk them from day 1 until day 10. Then I'd keep them in for about 5 days (garden only) before starting to lead walk again for the next week or so.
But as I said, blood loss is normal, but not clots - see your vet to be on the safe side.

Re: Advice
Post moved to health issues, you will hopefully get more viewers there.
I feel a trip to the vet may be in order to be on the safe side too.

Re: Advice
My younger girl Bella was sick the day before her first season and she did bleed more than my older girl but there was no clots there. I walk Bella when I think there will be less dogs around as well, one experience with trying to fend off a male during a walk was enough for me and poor Millie.
Good luck at the vets.
