Helloo just me again, well you know how enzo has seperation anxiety well i went in on friday and he had ripped all the carpets up and repositioned my sofa lol. But when i went in yesterday he hadn't done anything? Now my partner had forgotten to take enzo's harness off could this be the reason he hadn't done anything? We have put it on today to see if he dose anything. There ia nothing in our home that he can get caught on. Might just be he didnt fancy tearing me house up yesterday lol xx

I don't see why the harness would help with his separation anxiety, but hey, couldn't hurt to try, right? I know that's no advice lol can't help, sorry, but hope he gets better with it anyway Smile

I see it from another point of view.

Whenever your dog has its harness on its with you out walking, it knows you put the harness on and have control of him, and even protect him?

Could be a security blanket of some sort.

Of course as said above, it could just be a coincidence, but certainly worth trying..

We have a poodle as well as our staff, the poodle hates it when my partner goes out, will not settle, and will sit watching the window all day, at one point she wouldn't come in from her morning walk knowing my partner would then go to work.

We looked into some things you can plug in around the house that are meant to help calm them, but didn't need to in the end.

Hopefully you'll find something that works for you!

I am just trying things out at the moment. I was thinking coincidence worth a try though. We are going to try and crate train him when we are on our holidays so we can spend time with him then. But we shall see about the harness when i get in from work. Xx

If he feels safe in his harness it may be worth considering a Thundershirt for the anxiety. please see the link below. Vanessa uses one for her dog Jethro who, I'm sure Vanessa wont mind me saying, is getting on in years now, bless him.
