As some of you might know my poor little babba Sky has got Demodex an is currently being treated with Advocate an some Piriton for the itchin but iv'e so much about Sudocrem on here an that it works wonders ....

So would it be ok to put abit of Sudocrem on Sky's dry skin (where she's scratched herself abit) an on her bald patches ??

Just wanna ease her skin for her confused

Won't harm her if u did, it is soothing. I'd also give an antihistamine tablet which will help with the itching x

My only concern would be that the sudocreme may dry the skin out further, thus causing more itching. You may want to try something more moisturising like Camrosa ointment, link below:

I don,t want too offend anyone on here and as we all know when it comes too skin what works for some doesn,t work for others, But please be very wary of using camrosa on any dogs with any serious skin problems it has just been proven too contain some toxic ingredients that could cause irratation or reaction on senstive skin, i would follow vets advise with demodax, and go for e45 cream too ease the dry skin. I have contained a section of the link my vet told me about camrosa. "It does actually contain toxic ingredients, a complaint was made to the Advertising Standards Agency as their ad was claiming that the product "contained no harmful chemicals" - the complaint was upheld as "The Authority noted the complainant had had a spectral analysis of the ointment performed and that that analysis showed lead, nickel, uranium and lithium to be present in the ointment."

ASA Complaint (http://www.asa.org.uk/asa/adjudications/non_broadcast/Adjudication+Details.htm?Adjudication_id=39338)"

Thanks Kathy i think i am always airing on side of caution as i worked for 20yrs in homeopathy skin care and natural therapies lol so i am an ingredient addict always have too know what i put on my skin, so i,m the same with my dogs Big Grin I think with Camrosa it was original designed for horses whos skin and hooves are tougher, and the reason it was looked into my the vets associations was because now a days a product by law has too list ingredients and the company wouldn,t list theirs, just hope it helps some people x
