Pixee got a play mate

Yes, Pixee has a play mate now. On our walks since we have had Pixee I have often come across a lovely lady and her spring spaniel which is a boy. Both dogs seem to get on, but with Pixees recall in the earlier days, I wasnt going to let them play till the recall was better as Bubble, the spring spaniel has a habit of going off much further to chase things, but always comes back. The lovely lady Caroline understood. Well we bumped into one another last month, and both off lead were allowed to play in the fields. We had no problems calling them back
We said, we should meet up and let them play now. Last night they both had a play in the fields, and whilst we both exchanged phone numbers, in a few seconds of not watching them, they both had disappered . We stood where we were and looked all round us, not a sight. Caroline said, dont panic, Bubbles always comes back on the whistle, and I said Pixee does too. We took it in turns to blow. NOthing happened for 2 mins, so we tried again, another 2 mins go by, and they both came running at speed towards us, bless them, they had gone into the woods to chase something .

They met up again this morning too, and played lovely When it was time to put them on the lead, we had no problems. Now we have a phone number to arrange when they can play

great news , it's always good for them to have a buddy , Tilly used to have several good buddys that she would meet on walks , now she has a permanent one
