Up date on Pixee
As most of you know, she came from the Blue Cross in Jan. She is a star. Her recall is so much better now. I can infact call out to her to stay, to which she sits and lets me put her lead on. We got suprised last week with 2 dogs running out of no where, I called out Pixee stay, she sat down, let me come up to her and put the lead on. Where as before, she would be off chasing the dogs. Her heel to walk is now 90%. The other 10% is when she wants a sniff round without warning, and when over exicted she will pull a little bit, but I am now able to correct that too. She now has a play mate. Every now and then we would cross paths with a Spring Spangiel. A Dog, called bubbles. He is more domestic over Pixee, which in all fairness Pixee does need, but they play lovely. The lady has always told me to let Pixee off lead, but up till now I havent able to because of her recall. But now they play so lovely. As we live by the canal, we often go on walks up or down the canal, off lead so long as no dogs are about. When a cyclist comes, I have always asked pixee to sit, which she will do, much to the suprise of some cyclist faces, but they always say thank you. . Strangers, I tend to put her on the lead, as although she is better, out of the blue she can bark at them if she finds them threating. I have learned she does not like grey hair people of a certain age. And some people that look threating to me, she does find them threating too. She is always on the lead where children are around. She is good as gold in the house, sleeps in our bedroom, and is allowed on our bed everymorning. She is the first person we all say hello to when we come home. The different in her is wow, she is one happy very spoiled dog who is loved by everyone that comes to our house. I just need to get pictures up of her. So sorry about this.

Well done. She sounds like she is very happy and content now.
Not sure if you already know how or haven't been able to, but here's the link for adding photos.
Hope to see some soon

Re: Up date on Pixee
I have a lead that came with my camera that I plug into the computer, has a USB connection on the other end.
I also use a charging lead for my phone that connects to the computer. It trickle feeds charging from the computer and I link into it with a program called Kies which is for Samsung phones.
Not sure if any of this helps, sorry.

Re: Up date on Pixee
Sounds like all the hard work is paying off. Pixee is doing very well you must be very proud of her.
Have you thought about entering any competions or to do agility work with her ?

Great to hear about Pixee! If you have a smart phone (android or iphone) you can add the photobucket app to your phone and upload directly into it from your phone's camera.

Re: Up date on Pixee
Thank you all once again .
Hubby did wonder about entering her in a competion. But you have to trip their fur, get rid of their whiskers and so on, and well either of us are prepared to do that. Now agility work, thats a thought. Pixee loves playing chase games with me in the fields, will often be the first to start it, loves jumping up walls, up and down stairs, and generally will run up down over anything we ask her to.
Now going to try what Ben has suggested, so fingers crossed
