eating poo
Billy's crate has been clear of poo for the last 4 nights, he has a poo about midnight then again about 5.30am.
Wow I thought what a clever boy, but this moringg he went out for his poo and I caught him eating it, told him no and cleaned it up. Then he wanted to go out again about 2 hours later and did the same thing again.
Im thinking that he is probally doing that at night as well. What can I do to stop him and also is it bad for them

Re: eating poo
lola did exactly the same thing up till two days ago i thought she had worms or summat
theres nothing to worry about according to my vet lola was either
a,hungry
b,copying what her mother used to do or
c,hiding the evidence as she knew she wasnt to poo in the house
well she definatley isnt hungry and according to the girl i got lola off the other pups were doing it
2 things you can do is add banana to his meal just half a banana sliced thats wha i do with lola
when they poo theres summat in the banana that they wont want to re eat and as soon as you catch them doing it a firm no then remove them from the area wich obviously you cant do when they in bed but the banana will stop that.its worked for me and my little angel with horns hasnt eaten poo for 2 days now!lol
im well chuffed ive managed to give advice rather than ask for it lol

Re: eating poo
To be honest, I doubt he's eating in in her crate at night cause you'd still see some evidence of it in the morning! As well as the above, try taking him outside on a lead & when he goes, praise him & move him away. If he goes to eat it say "No!" and pull him gently away, he'll soon get the hang of it!

Re: eating poo
