Dogs Paw Empty Dogs Paw

Post by stevi3 Tue Aug 21 2012, 09:53

Hello folks, I noticed my dog was limping yesterday and on closer inspection I noticed a small lump in between his toes I tried to spread his toes a little and he yelped so must have been really sore. I have noticed the same lump before and it went away, Just wondering if you have any ideas what this could be or why it keeps appearing, This morning I cleaned his paw with some sterile water and some diluted savlon.

Thanks Stevie. Dogs Paw Img_0911

Looks like there could be something in there which has become infected, it may work its own way out but will be uncomfortable for a while, probably best let the vet take a look.

Thanks guys, yea just back from the vet, she said its nothing to be worried about and that its just cysts,I was advised to use some athlete's foot powder on the cysts and try to keep him from licking them. I noticed he has them on booth front paws but also a small slice on the pad which was causing him to yelp. Thanks
