Been doing Insanity (Max Interval Training) for 2 weeks solid, weighed myself and same weight Crying or Very sad In fact put the cat on and she weighs the same as me Laughing
So not sure not what weight I was at the start, what weight I am now, or if it was me who broke them >Smile
Guttered all that work and I feel like I have no idea if I've made any progress.
I have done all my measurements and there are slight changes in them.
So new scales today I think angry

Thats the one Wazza thumbs up
I have lost 1/2 inch off my waiste and gained 1/2 inch on my chest so hopefully I'm doing alright. Was hoping to see some difference on the scales. Have to get some new ones, for all I know I could of been eating too much for the last 2 weeks thinking my starting weight was heavier than it is

Stay away from the scale unless you have one that acurately measures body fat. The body has a set weight point it doesn't like to go below and will fight to stay above it. Plus at 33 your metabolism is going to be a little slow.

Go by what you see in the mirror and how you feel to gauge progress.

Not that bad it's more when you have to bend them, like one called high knees. I do the jumping action but can't raise the knee as high Laughing
But for some reason it hurts more walking up stairs than jumping

Take a look first thing in the morning before eating or drinking. Just don't do it every day as you will never notice a change. Photos are an even better idea once a month or so. They really are great motivators and the camera don't lie.

I got the fitness test tonight so that might be a better indicator. I did one at the start and you do one every 2 weeks to see how much fitter you are. If I am worse you might be hearing a fully grown man + a few stone crying tonight Laughing

You wouldn't put a 1lb of muscle on in two weeks unless it's major newbie gains and because insanity is quite intense you would likely be in calorific deficit at the mo.

It's probably a water issue. You could try cutting carbs down and upping protein or just waiting till it's comes off naturally. Your probably drinking more water too at the moment I'm guessing.

I've lost about 4st over the past 18 mths (been at target 6mths) doing all kinds of stuff and I know water balance is a killer!

You'll definitely see the scales shift soon! But like jstaff said go buy other things like the mirror and whether your clothes feel loose. I don't own scales now but I know how annoying it is! So good luck Smile
