Re: Dry food opinion
Thanks for your frank opinion, my thoughts were much the same before i owned Dime. We had a Rottie and she ate the same food (not super premium:P ) her whole life (11yrs) and did well. We actually never had to visit the vets for any health reasons, other than shots n checkups.
Seeing as Dime is our first Staffy i have done ALOT of research around the web and from friends to find out what i could about the breed and along the way i read some articles on food. It suprised me that some peoples opinions can be that you are a poor pet owner should you not feed your dog a Super premium dog food.

my vet recomended a high grade food with
30% protein so your spot on there
less than 20% fat so your well under
low salt
and a good kibble to keep there teeth tartar free
and all the minerals seem to be in there
i would also add cod liver oil to her food for her coat i have seen the differance already in a week much shiner
ps dime is one stunning girl

Re: Dry food opinion
its just that brine is really just salt water and if you can avoid giving your dog salt then thats always best! lol plus im sure he would much prefere the tomato sauce!!
