staffy got bit not sure if he needs to get checked

my staffy pup got bit on the nose by another staffy and has a right we cut on it . it did bleed a little nothing major buh should i get him checked by the vet or will he be fine ??

I'm sure it will be ok, disinfect it and keep and eye on it, how did it happen?

i was walking him and the women had 2 other staffys they looked friendly but the bigger one nearly pulled her of her feet to get at him and just caught him thanks for the help i will get some disinfected on him right away.

Just dilute the disinfectant with a little water first, neat it will sting like hell

I'm sure he will be fine, if it isn't flapping about there is no need to panic. Just don't let him go digging or onto sand for a while.

i dont hve any disinfected at the minute is there anything i can use that will help until i get up till the pet shop i have just dabbed it with damp cloth

Pet shop won't have any. you can get it in most general shops, but i think salt water should be fine for it, if it isnt too deep. Dogs have hardy immune systems, so unless his nose is hanging off just salt water and watch it.

sure he will be fine sounds quite minor for a staff

He was pretty shakin up after he was scare of other dog but I took him out today with 2 other staffs and he gets on brilliantly with them seemed alot more confident now
