New member From Ireland needing advice
Hi all my name is Keith i am from Dublin (ireland).I have an 8 year old staffordshire bull terrier (Chloe) i will add pics later. I am happy i found this site i came accross it while searching about this small issues i have with my staffy. One slight Problem i have with chloe is that if someone bends down to rub her she jumps up trying to lick the face but actually nearly knocks your teeth out its really frustrating and does hurt when she does it. ANY IDEAS....

Hiya and welcome from me and Moo
I think we have all been nutted by our dogs on occasion lol, it dam hurts!! The only thing you do is teach a strong 'sit' and 'down' command, may take a while as she is 8 but as long as everyone, including friends/family/strangers don't encourage no jumping you may get there.

Ouch! I think we've all been there & sympathise! They have incredibly hard heads.
Definitely try teaching her that she won't get any greeting/fuss until she's sitting & stays sitting.
Welcome to the forum, btw!

Re: New member From Ireland needing advice
Hi and welcome to the forum from Rocky and me.
To teach your dog to sit try kneeling down in front of but not looming over your dog, hold a favourite treat up to the dogs nose, this should then put his bottom on the ground, then move the treat up and back. Make sure he gets the treat when he does sit. Keep it fun and with the dog focused on you.
Try this is a quiet place with no distractions. Good luck.

Afraid not but photobucket is free to open an account, can be a bit slow. To add a pic in your profile that comes straight from your pc

Hi & welcome to the forum
Same advice from me also as above. Also if she gets excited easy when you have guests, just pop her on a lead so you can correct her before she darts across the room.
Makes my eyes water just thinking of Blue's concrete head cracking me on the nose

Hi and welcome, Kenny does this sometimes, im sorry i cant offer much advice as we're trying to over come this too. He once tryed doing it to a judge at a show lol !!
As for photobucket, the easyiest way that i found is double click the pick you want to post, once you've done that, there'll be a box underneath with different codes, double click the bottom code, it should say "copied" for a second, then just come back here and paste it , it will look like a load of numbers but once you've posted it will show your pic.

Hi and welcome.
Can you hold a treat down low while she gets petted? (My dog would do anything for food?)
