Over the past month, Zeus has developed really bad breath. I've brought fresh breath treats etc, but they don't do anything. Could this be because hes teething?

Anyways, my question is, do you brush your dogs teeth? If so, how often and any particular methods used? I can't imagine Zeus would be too happy about me sticking a toothbrush in his mouth, let alone actually brushing his teeth!

I don't brush my dogs teeth, they have a cpl of raw bones a week to keep their teeth in tiptop condition.

I feed raw so Dempsey's teeth are quite clean. I used to brush them before a show just for that extra sparkle, but that's it.

Teething can give them bad breath, but so can an upset tum or eating sonething stinky! sick

From someone who never knew about brushing a dogs teeth until recently, i advise anyone with a puppy who eats wet food or wet mix to START IMMEDIATELY.

Get him used to it, you can do it everyday just like a humans.

I never did and lexi has no canines left (but that is mostly due to her only toy being a tray that she wont giv up) but they are full of plaque. i brush them now but it doesnt do much.

Rocky teeth are fairly clean anyway, I just use one of my old toothbrushes every now and then give them a little brush. It's just so he is used to someones hand being inside his mouth as much as anything else.

i bought some toothpaste from PAH. I brush skys teeth most mornings and i just use my finger. It cleans her teeth and also gets her used to people touching her in and around the mouth incase she ever needed a vet to examine her mouth.

Logic gel I think it's called is supposed to be good, I don't think you actually have to brush, just rub it on the teeth and gums.
