Was just thinking if you cook for your puppy? Debo is on Pero food and was doing ok,well his poo wasn't perfect,on the hot weather was loose but now it's still loose, the weather is not hot any more,so I put him on chicken ,rice and carrot diet. Wonder if cooking for him wouldn't be better/

I feed raw, so I don't cook for Dempsey. I used to cook for Bandit, though. I used to part-cook vegetables & puree them. Then I'd put them in ice cube trays & freeze them. Then I'd cook his meat (I used to buy a couple of whole ox hearts, cut them up & cook them, then they'd be frozen as well. Then every day he'd get some meat & a few vege cubes for his dinner.

Rocky has some cooked cooled chicken in with his kibble. He usually eats it all up.

We have done it when we were figuring out Suki's allergies but not since then.

I think you can loose a lot of the goodness if you cook the food.

By all means add it into a good kibble, I went through very loose poo with Moo and put her on fish4dogs, sometimes I add sardines or raw egg to it. Might be worth a try Smile
