Sore/bite??
Hi all. Hope your having a good weekend
I'm a bit concerned about this spot/scab/sore on the back of lola's neck.
My dad noticed it about 8 days ago and we just put some sudo cream on it was it scabbed over and was healing and while she was at doggie day care she came home and I think the people looking after her knocked the scab off...
Here's it healing.
Here's it his evening.
What do you guys reckon??
Should I get a vets appt for her??
Thanks guys

Re: Sore/bite??
My guess, and I could be wrong, but it could be a tick and the reaction.
Friends dog had exactly the same thing. I had a right go for not taking him to the vets! It was fine and went within a few weeks!

Re: Sore/bite??
Hmm certainly looks sore.
No clue what it is tbh. If she were mine and it hadn't healed by now I would pop her to the vet for a once over. Might bf nothing, but fact that it scabbed over knocked off and still looks raw I'd get it checked.

Re: Sore/bite??
Not a clue to be honest, but it looks clean and looks like its healing well - i would nt inclined to just keep an eye on it.

Thanks guys
Janey was your friends dog's tick on the dog??
Cause I've checked her over for similar bites or bumps and not found anything.
My parents live by the woods and she was in long grass at the beach and on walks etc.
She got a flea and tick treatment last night for precaution x
