Proud of my staffies!!
Me & a mate just took Mazda & Kodi on the bus to pets at home & Jollys, They sat perfect on the bus, we went pets at home first then sat outside having a coffee whilst they had a happy meal ( naughty I know), this old couple came out and acted like the dogs were gonna eat them even though by now they was laying by my feet quietly!!!! They then carried a pigs ear each back from jollys (a mile walk) back to the bus, both by now very tired and walking wonderful, got on the bus as ya do and expected all the "looks could kill" again, but after 5mins into our journey they was being so well behaved people started to comment on how good they were, expecially Kodi being a pup, within 10mins Maz had a new best friend (an elderly man giving her cuddles) and Kodi gave his staffy kisses to a elderly lady who then sat him on her lap even the driver started to laugh at how friendly they were, as I went to get off another misrable old bag lady said "at last them killing machines are geting off" well I instantly see red went to have a go and defend my babies but before I even opened my mouth the elderly man and lady that had just been cuddling them, the young couple with a young baby that was also fussing them, started having a go at this lady telling her what lovely well behaved dogs staffie are and its the bad owners that ruin the breed (I even started to feel sorry for her being attacked like that ) but it was so nice for strangers to stand up for my babies
To top it off as I got off the bus driver said they're welcome anytime hes never had dogs behave so well on his bus way to go Maz & Kodi
rant over sorry

Well done to them for showing people that it's the owner, not the breed, that creates problems well done to you too.

Re: Proud of my staffies!!
Well of course Staffys are always so perfectly well behaved you have two very good role models there the more people that know the truth about the breed the better. Thanks for letting us know about the bus driver and his passengers.

Re: Proud of my staffies!!
lovely story. So strange to read about your dogs on trains and busses. Just not allowed here at all unless it is a service dog . Would love to experience this though.
