Do you let your dog lick you?

Do you let your dog lick you? If you do, do you put limits on the licking (no mouth or face licking) or it just doesn't matter where your dog licks you?

i teach my max the word kiss and yes i let him kiss me on the face

I don't let her lick me but when I am sweaty or put lotion on she tries her best to lick my shins. lol

Yes, anywhere!! When I visted Boris today all he did was cuddle and lick. Got me on the chin, on the nose, on my arms and even licked my shoes xx

I don't mind Ledger licking though he doesn't do it much and mostly just the back of my hand if he wants something. I have also taught him 'kiss'

I didn't think we had a choice staffy kisses are the best.

I taught Molly the word kiss and she jump on her hind legs and get me on the face.. I don't usually like her licking my face and deffo not on the mouth, but she licks my hands and arms and feet sometimes OH lets her lick him all over his face.. blurrgg, I have become a compulsive hand washer since she came to live with us..

Chiquito is the same ... gives a kiss on cue but you have to watch for the sneaky munch on your nose or chin

My old dog Kizzy used to know the phrase "give us a kiss" and she gave the biggest wettest kisses ever. Actually she was known as "The Licky Monster" by my kids.

I love getting kissed, to me its just part of the showing affection

If i owned a staffy i would definitely let him/her lick me! My childhood dogs were two jack russells and i let them all the time and still do when im at my dads house lol

I do my best to limit the licks but sometimes it is just a bit too fast for me to dodge. Plus frosty likes to lick pants for some very strange reason...

Rocky licks, but we try to avoid the face as much as possible, but like most say, its unavoidable sometimes as they just sneak them in! He nibbles our ears mostly, we could just be sitting on the lounge and he just gets up nibbles our ear and sits back down, I think that's his way of giving us a face lick since haha

willow loves to lick my sons hair when hes just had a shower infact she pins him down its funny never does it to me! its like shes mothering him. and she gives us all kisses if she eaten something disgusting though i worn everyone so no kisses for willow then

Oh hell no, no kisses here. Having two dogs and pretty much at any time of the day one has their nose up the others butt. And they are raw fed.

Oh yeah and yuck yuck yuck.

YES not the mouth and eyes area though, but she loves the ears, when i ask for a kiss she goes straight to the ears and trys to lick them off haha legs and bare feet are fair game aswell, it is a sign of affection from them so is normal..
