scary chair + Rage attack in the metro
so. today i took Romeo to the dog park, nothing new there. What was new was that some one had brought some old plastic white deck chairs and left them there for people to use.... well..... this did not go well for Romeo, and for the first time..... in NINE MONTHS i heard Romeo bark. We are not talking about his muffled snuffs or his whining in his sleep, not even his well... yodeling... this was actual parking with all his fluff on end and staying the heck away from those chairs. i was luckily enough able to film it, since none of my friends will believe that Romeo would ever bark.... i'm yet to figure out how to put it online from my new phone though...
AND now, on the other hand
A few days ago, i am moving some very heavey bags through he city. full, so full of things for a hair show the coming day. I have romeo with me since i had not realised i would be playing himan mule that day. so... little old me, struggling through the city carrying about 35kgs of hair brushes, dryers and straightenes ect.
can i just say... HOW DAMN STUPID some people are
you would think.... seeing that i am already having a hard enough time, that it might NOT be a good idea to try and call my 20kg dog over to you? Well... apparently some people dont get that.
Twice while i was walking people tried to get romeo's attentions and he would jerk me this way or that, leaving me to growl at him for knocking me around.... but .. the icing on the cake.... while i was standing at the metro, waiting for the train... some F&%¤!?G idiot started to whistle at Romeo and pat his thigh, trying to call him over. So... me.. already being off balanced sort of with there being more on my right then left... with Romeo giving a sudden lunge... where did i go? Yes yes of cause... THE GROUND! IN THE MIDDLE OF THE METRO STATION!!!!
GARHAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHhajgsldgasöfiugaesöfiuashfyyyydjafsdöiugödskzgj!!!!
RAGE!
SO MUCH RAGE!
anyway. once i had dragged romeo back in and righted myself i set about telling this sod how he was a moron... but get this, do you know what he says to me " you should learn to control that dog"
wow... thank you, thank you for that...
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! IDIOT!
I SPIT ON YOU!
I will admit... i had a moment of white rage where i calmly concidered throwing the man under the oncoming metro... but i didnt.. i just go on the metro and silently stewed while romeo slept ontop of the bags
Is it so hard to ASK to say hello?
BTW guys was in his like... late 40's or early 50's
i'm pretty sure this is what i looked like when this all happened

Some people are just thick, this we have to accept I think and move on
You did very well to keep your cool with him, he was really old enough to know better.

Re: scary chair + Rage attack in the metro
Those chairs might have been dangerous you know Bella done that with the ironing board, deep howly bark and growl.
I hate it when people who really should know better just wind up your dog. I just want to scream at them

Re: scary chair + Rage attack in the metro
i like to think of myself as fairly long minded, but no one messes with my dog!
Re: scary chair + Rage attack in the metro
Ah, have heard that deep growly bark. It is reserved for inanimate objects of undisclosed description, from the wheely Bin on the move to the vacuum cleaner. The daftest thing out.
I am amazed at your composure with that dumb a**s. I would have lost it.

It really really really winds me up when people call banksy towards them when im walking, i don't see what the need is, hes quite clearly on a lead and so there calling won't acheive anything!!
What annoys me more is when someone makes noises to get his attention but then panic when he notices them and turns his body towards him!! Why make noises at him then!!!

OHHHH that drive me nuts. teenagers or like... tweens.. will like whistle and bark at Romeo and then he will look at them and start to go towards them and they FREAK out!
And the whole lead thing, i'll be walking or something and they call him to them as i am trying to do something... like above... really makes my blood boil. i have been so tempted to PUNCH people for it.
forget the dog, beware the owner kinda thing
Re: scary chair + Rage attack in the metro
I think Romeo knew other dogs had probably weed on the chairs and didn't want you to get dirty sitting on them.
As for the idiot... wow. It is all I can say in this forum. All the words that come to mind show as *.

Re: scary chair + Rage attack in the metro
I feel your rage. Some people just don't get it, and then turn around and blame the dog and/or the owner.
Must be honest though, the way you wrote that made me smile

Re: scary chair + Rage attack in the metro
when i exsplained it to my boss the next day he laughed at me too. i tend to be quiet animated when discribing something
Re: scary chair + Rage attack in the metro
Buster had a moment like that the other week - someone had left a shopping trolley in the middle of the field and he didn't like it! It was funny to watch, and I wouldn't of wanted to be the trolley!
And well done for the restraint with the people calling Romeo. People can be so dumb. Some people have tried it with Buster but he only listens to me (about the only time it is a blessing) and so doesn't try to go to them
