Lexi walked herself this evening Empty Lexi walked herself this evening

Just happened to look out my bedroom window and saw a little black thing hopping across the field. Knew it was lexi immediately, i'd recognise her little hop anywhere. Went down to get her and she lay in the middle of the field so i had to walk all the bloody way to her, make a fuss to let her know she wasn't in trouble then we walked back and i had to lift her over the gate cause its padlocked and got a face/body full of badger poo.

Thanks lexi. i think you are grounded now.

Dad had opened her gate to get something and she got out without him even seeing her, shes so sneaky.

dont worry, our old Staff Zook used to do that. he would actually take himself off on a walk, luckily at the time we were living kind of far away from everyone on the beach... still... little sod would go off without us knowning

Yeah shes done it before too. Always ends up back though, have never had to call a search party lol. She never used to roam when she was younger, she was out on the yard 24/7 but when she hit maturity and off she went.

Don't know if it works but I was once informed that using tomato ketchup as a shampoo gets rid of the stink of any dung they've rolled in - but turns white fur pink! At the time I had a Dalmatian who loved fresh cow pats and goose poop (eating and rolling in!). sick Didn't fancy a pink dog with black spots tho!
