Walked out with another staffy :) PHOTOS ADDED 17.3.13

Met up with a friend tonight who has a staffy girl. Charlie still gets quite spooked on night walks and is constantly checking with me and wanting a fuss. He walked great with Bella but she sure put up with a LOT of sniffing from Charlie (it may be because she has just come out of season) She loved going off-lead but Charlie didn't know what to do when she came bounding over to him!! We might try and meet up soon in the daytime at an enclosed field where we can let them both off.....not sure how Charlie will be with her off-lead!

Play dates are great

Play dates are always fun! Mine haven't had in a while as their regular friend has had an ear infection.

Play dates are great, Katy has them with a 18wk old bulldog (Wilfred) Admittedly she can run rings round him but they both love it. I'm sure Charlie would love to be off lead with her, go for it

Give it a go I'm sure they will be fine, so long as you are they to step in if need be you've nothing too loose.

Thanks everyone, I quite often walk with another friend and her pug at the park where we meet lots of other dogs but a play off lead will be great for Charlie. I remember when Charlie was little compared to Alfie (the pug) but he is now a lot bigger than him! You should have seen him today because we hadn't seen Alfie for a week....he was VERY excited and lay down on his back in front of Alfie loads of times

Walked out with our staffy friend Bella again tonight and she just wanted Charlie to play with her off lead....fingers crossed for ok weather tomorrow and we'll be heading off to the field.

Yay, nothing beats watching 2 staffs play

She had a little play growl at Charlie but I think he was a bit spooked and maybe felt trapped as he was still on lead, he pulled my daughter back to me! It'll be good to see how he is with her off lead

Great to have mates to run with that's where having 2 has great benefits. Before we had a big family fall out then my 2 had the lads 2 English Bull Mastiffs to play with too and even if they had a couple of rucks along the way it was good learning for them and nothing for either of us to be concerned about as they are all more than capable of putting up with the rough stuff

Sadly just back to the 2 of them now though

We had a lovely time at the park. Charlie got to run loads and generally didn't get too close to Bella but happy running totally free ....Bella absolutely LOVES chasing sticks and had lots of willing hands throw them! lol
