Off his food
Poor Rocky hasn't been eating very well since he was attacked last week. It must have really shaken him up.
I have been quite worried about him and have tried to tempt him with various things to eat.
Got him a tin of Chappie the other day and he has been eating that OK with some of his kibble today. Will keep him on it until he has completly picked up and I can wean him off it.
Bless him he even had a bit of a grumble at one his really good friends this morning when we were out for a walk. Nothing came of it though and they all made friends again before going home.

Re: Off his food
Poor Rocky, he doesn't deserve all that trauma, does he?
Hope he's feeling better soon.

Its a shame, I hope Rocky will make progress again, just takes time.
Gotta feel for the boy, rescued and been attacked twice now?
I just wish people would see thw damage done, even if it isn't visable to the eye Xx

Re: Off his food
Thanks , no he doesn't deserve it all. I really hope we have now left this bad stage behind us and can move forward again.
It has been a set back but we will keep working with him, we have all the time in the world for him. He is such a gentle little fella and is curled up on the sofa now next to my hubby having a tummy tickle and looks sooooo sleepy.

Re: Off his food
Thanks J, I think he is on the mend now. Must stay right away from those loose dogs now though.

Re: Off his food
Might be a good idea. We always speak with the handler and observe the dog before letting Suki meet a new dog. If they seem unsure or nervous we stay away just to be safe
