best toys and treats
hi
Rosco has a variety of treats but at the puppy classes last night the lady gave him cheese which he loved, which is the best cheese to get for him?
also, toys, he's got a stagbar, kong toy, mini wheel, rope, teddies etc but should i get him a boomer ball and some other kongs?

Too much cheese isn't good for dogs, as they can't digest lactose properly. I would stick to bits of chicken at this stage in his life.

ok thanks, i don't think chicken agrees with him but he likes ham.

Well whatever you think works best for him cheese is okay for occasional treat or used for taking tablets, but just not recommended for a training treat.

Maybe try some small pieces of carrot as a training treat. We also use these for Rocky, they are quite small and you can get loads in your treat pouch:

Pets at Home do some really good puzzle toys, one is a ball where you can half close the opening, you fill it with treats . . a bit noisy but lots of fun, and wooden puzzles you hide food in . .sadly as they are wood they get chewed too!

We use sliced vegetables as treats. Suki is very food motivated and we don't want her getting fat
