breast feeding and staffy bitch
I just read a post on fb, regarding a lady who'd like to breast feed. She was told by her midwife that a staffy bitch would/could attack when she smells the milk! Has any1 heard anything like this before. I breastfed, and had a staffy bitch, and she never attacked.

What a load of rubbish, I have friends and family around all the time who are breastfeeding. although the girls were a bit interested the first couple of times (think they thought they were going to get some!) they were never agressive and certainly didnt want to attack!

I know, complete rubbish. My girl was great, i would sometimes express some off and put it in her bowl. Naughty, maybe, but she loved it.

Re: breast feeding and staffy bitch
I have never heard that on before! I know when I was pregnant one of he midwives kept lecturing me on how bad it was for the babies health to be around animals. I didnt listen, and the other midwife loved my animals and never said a word. I hate it when you get someone like that who has an influence over people that abuse it because they dont like dogs.

Re: breast feeding and staffy bitch
I know I was told to get rid of the staff as she was a danger to my daughter ( who is now turning 16) when the dog I was worried about was my colliex as he didn't like kids but kept both dogs and they were all the best of friends
Just shows what do others know dogs adapt with time and patience
