OMG what a pyscho..... every morning Holly wakes up and goes for a wee ( or 20) and then she is a right royal pain in the ar!!!!!.. It seems like it is her naughty hour. into everythign and everything.... and she finds it hard to "leave" it.... when during the day she will just sniff at things and if i say "leave it" she wanders off.. ( and finds something else naughty to do lol)...
I know she is super excited to see me.. but should I be happy or ignore her for a bit..
It will be hard in 4 weeks when the kids are back at school to give her that 30 mins time.
She is now back alseep and i am wide awake! lol

when she is older this will be our walking time so wont matter that much

Ditto, mine has a wild hour usually when I get my lunch break at work and pop home! Cracks me up. You can subdue it I guess but thats up to you, she'll learn whatever you want to teach her to a certain extent!!

What time is she waking in the morning? Bonnie is the same in the morning but shes getting up earlier and earlier, at 8 weeks she was up at 6:30 - 7 this is ok as mid week i get up about 5:30 anyway. Last 2 mornings ive been up at 5 and 4:30 in the holidays aswell Surprised .

Anyone got any tips on changing her sleeping pattern? At thirteen weeks she still cant go out and were playing it safe because parvo is rife in our area at tho mo.

At 13 weeks, I'm sfraid her sleeping patterns will be governed by whether or not she's awake, or needs to go for a pee!

Just have patience (easier said than done) she'll settle into a routine soon enough. Bandit was the same as a pup, so was Dempsey. Now, I have to entice Dempsey into the garden with treats & he walks around yawning & then has a quick pee before shooting back inside & back to bed!

Bonnie will get there, once she can go out properly etc then the routine will fall into place. Until then as Caryll said its just patience! Saying that I still get woken up at silly o clock on occasions!

My boy does that, but just as you are wanting to go to bed and you have to let him have his mad half hour or he doesn't settle!
